Get your self some .060 aluminum, have it powder coated to match, use your discretion on patch size (dont make it a 2 x 2 patch) make it a decent size patch to it looks like it should be there.

Jul 14, 2019 There is one way to repair a dent in your aluminum before replacing the damaged panel. All you need to do is drill a small 1/8 inch hole and then place a washer over a self tapping screw. Insert the screw but not all the way. When the screw has a good hold on the aluminum, grab the washer with a pair of pliers and pull. The dent should pop out.

May 28, 2010 Im wanting to do something with my Hanson. I love the old dull aluminum look but the trailer has rust streaks, rain streaks and a few dents and nicks. If the nicks are repaired, obviously that means paint. If it comes to that, I will use Rustoleum silver (like Hammerite but smooth) To clean the trailers, Ive use Oil Eater from Costco.

So were going to use epoxy filler to fill these blems before re-painting our trailer (note that this method obviously wont work for a vintage trailer with a polished skin).
