Oct 07, 2017 Get a nice liquid polish like white diamond from advance auto. It has a polish and sealer in it, and you can polish it with the tanks filthy and it still works since it has a cleaner. Polish til its black, haze dry, then buff off in the same pattern. Its about $14 a bottle and lasts several polishes, now I use Gords, but white diamond is great.

Apr 18, 2020 Give your tank a final swish, turn it over on a hard surface and dump it. .. Doesnt sound very green, but the alcohol will flash off/evaporate, and leave most of any crud residue behind. Dont know your engine/motor, but buy two water separating fuel filters after installing your tank. Pitch the first after the first 5-10 hrs of use.
